iHM Sports Medicine-3D Health Care

Dear Coach

IMG_6504
We at iHM Sports Medicine would like to extend our services to your athletic program. As healthcare professionals and former collegiate athletes, we consultant for Athletic Teams, Health Care and Sports Medicine Professionals using performance, activity and impairment based objectives.  As your Team Consultant, we will skillfully appraisal your athletes’ movement quality, joint mobility and core stability to decrease their chance of athletic injury.
As Team Consultants, we know that 25% of the athletes on every roster are susceptible to injuries during the season.   Over time, these injuries cause poor athletic movements, mechanical defects and decrease to speed/athletic performance. This ongoing trend significantly increases the chance of non-contact injury, while leaving injured athletes at the mercy of their Sports Medicine Staff.  At iHM Sports Medicine we believe establishing a baseline prior to participating in physical activity can avoid this vicious cycle of injury.
Our philosophy and methodology incorporates the use of a standard operating procedure (SOP) to produce a baseline and appraisal of  an athlete’s movement quality prior to engaging into athletic activity.  This appraisal is based on movement impairments, movement performance and activity-specific movements-identifying the following:
When using this SOP the vulnerable athletes float to the surface, while the durable athletes remain resilience though the season.  Additionally it enhances communication and corresponds between the Sports Medicine Staff, Strength & Conditioning Staff and Coaching Staff.
As your Team Consultant, we will empower and educate your athletic program/s with this effective standard operating procedure.  By joining forces with iHM Sports Medicine your Program will have a system to create lines of communication among your staff.  Our role is simple when provided with the opportunity to join and assist your Program’s winning tradition.  We look forward to meeting with you and assisting your Program in this capacity.

Thank you for your time and best wishes this season!

Kind regards,

L. Thomas Faison, DC, CCSP
